Childhood & Teenage Years

Born on 16th November 1970 in Hyde, the youngest member of the O'Connor family. Moved to Newton in 1973 where Wendy attended Bradley Green Primary School. I remember Mrs. Fleet being Wendy's favourite teacher there. I don't think she wagged it once, but I'm sure others will tell me differently! Childhood cuddly which she still had was 'Monkey Gibbon' yet she hated bananas. Kimmy has been Wendy's best friend (like sisters) since childhood & there are some right tales about what they got up to. As kids we used to be in the Zodiac Jazz Band which was run by Kimmy's family. We had some fantastic weekends away. Some very special memories of those days. At Hyde High School, Wendy was always getting up to some sort of mischief. Anne used to copy Dad's signature so Wendy could get away with unauthorised absences... They were so naughty. Wendy loved going to work with Dad in his lorry during school holidays, so she was taught to drive at an early age and knew so much about cars. A proper little tomboy. Wendy loved her cousins David, Ian & Gavin very much and used to stay at Salford quite a lot with them when growing up(the horror stories of what they used to get up to would make your hair curl) I'm keeping stum. You all know Wendy so just imagine what she would of got up to!
